Damaged Siding Gets Replaced Seattle, Washington

The Problem: Original siding on the South facing wall on a 50 plus-year-old house was badly damaged and in need of replacement. The homeowner did not want to tackle the whole house, was interested in taking on the paint and reached out to us to see how we could help.

The Solution: The siding was removed and several rotted pieces of the plywood sheathing were discovered. On removing these, it was found that the insulation was sub-standard. The homeowner decided to add more insulation as part of the repair process to make the house more energy-efficient and snug. This was done, new sheathing and house wrap was installed and finally, beautiful new cedar. The satisfied homeowner is looking forward to painting his newly sided house wall!
