Andrew Baklinski
Owner
Andrew is a native of Ontario Canada. Growing up in a large family, he learned a lot about teamwork and working hard to get a job done right. Many of his siblings are actively involved in the construction industry and being on job sites from a young age, Andrew learned a broad spectrum of skills. He has worked professionally in construction-related fields bridging from film set design and construction to new home construction, renovations, sales, management, and business development both in residential and commercial markets.
He is married to Veronika, a third-generation Mercer Island girl and together, along with their 8 children, they have called Mercer Island their home for the last 9 years. In his spare time, he loves biking, hiking and enjoying the beautiful Pacific Northwest. Both Andrew and Veronika love to cook and travel and their children are following in their footsteps!
Andrew is passionate about the level of professionalism that he brings to the company and to the customers that we serve. Our motto: “Quality, Integrity, Satisfaction” is not just a catchphrase but is really the motto by which Andrew lives.
Lexi Drienyovszky
Randy Lizama
Project Manager
Randy, hailing from Hawaii, has been a part of the construction industry for more than three decades. He derives immense pleasure from constructing structures that will stand the test of time. Randy is passionate about collaborating with individuals from diverse backgrounds. He is excited to join our team and deliver exceptional quality work. Randy is a lover of the ocean and relishes water-based activities such as surfing and scuba diving, even though he admits that he cannot indulge in them often in the Pacific Northwest.
Josiah Berry
Crew Lead
Josiah comes to our team with 12 years of experience in the construction industry. He really enjoys building things and gets a sense of satisfaction from a nice-looking end product. On top of this, he is a gifted preacher, a youth pastor, a husband, a father, and an avid outdoorsman. He enjoys fishing, hunting, hiking, and camping. He enjoys hard work and believes working to provide for his family is important.
Tyler Costa
Tyler was born in the Bay Area and was raised in Modesto CA. He’s been hanging around job sites since he was 8 when his dad started a home Improvement business. He has worked for over 10 years in home improvement and has built a very diverse skill set ranging from tile and flooring work to full kitchen and bath remodels. His number one focus in each job is to ensure the customer is satisfied. He made a move up to Seattle almost two years ago after graduating from UCSB with a degree in communications.
He spends most of his free time playing in various soccer leagues around Seattle and coaching a youth soccer league for Seattle United.
Helena Baklinski
Customer Care Specialist
Helena joins our team bringing with her a happy exuberance and a joy that is infectious. She loves assisting customers and providing a wow level of experience in the process.
She is excited to be part of a team that places importance on company culture, and doing what’s right for the customer.
When not on the phone answering calls and doing office admin work, she loves to read, going out to eat and exploring all the beautiful places that the Pacific Northwest offers.
Tavis Doyle
Tavis has always called Washington State home. He loves being a part of a dynamic team where customer service and professionalism are number one. Whether enjoying the creativity and problem-solving of home improvement, a good home-cooked meal, friends or exploring the countryside, Tavis is known for his easy-going nature, hard work ethic and good humour.
Liam Farrell
Liam Farrell grew up on the island and is happy to be working in his hometown. He started construction full-time at just 17 and has acquired a strong sense of difference for quality construction. He is the eldest son of 5 and started using tools at the age of 3. He enjoys mechanics and blacksmithing in his free time and is currently building a custom 350 Chevy for his '76 C10.
Griffin Richardson
Griffin began building furniture at 12, and tinkered around until his time at the Northwest School of Wooden Boat Building, where he earned an associates degree for traditional small craft boat construction.
After college he returned to his home on Mercer Island to join the residential home remodel trade. For the last 7 years he’s worked for different companies and ran his own business until he landed with the Baklinski Home Improvement team where the accepting and growing environment drives him forward.
When not at the job site, Griffin enjoys golf, woodworking, furniture fabrication and camping.
Alex Rodriguez
Alex has been in this field of construction for more than 25 years and brings a wealth of experience to every job site.
He loves the unique challenges that every project brings, and finding ways to creatively solve the issues that come up. He is thorough and diligent and has a keen eye to make sure that the job is done right with no shortcuts.
He is happiest working with wood and building things. He also enjoys biking fishing and playing chess.
Donny Moncrieff
Donny has worked in construction most of his life. He loves the challenge and creativity of being on a job site and providing wow level experience to customers.
He is someone who is open minded, respects the opinions of others, and loves to share his ideas.
Outside of work, he loves spending time with his family, friends and pets. He also has a huge love for radio control aircraft flying and can often be found at local fields with a beautiful scale aircraft.
Donny wants the best for everyone and has a positive win-win moving forward mentality.
Jeremy Bean
For Jeremy, making a positive difference in someone’s life is the most exciting part of bettering their home.
Family is of utmost importance to him. He Ioves all things sport, music and positive influences. Born and raised in Washington and residing locally on Mercer Island with his wife, kids and two dogs, he believes in building trust, relationships and strong foundations for future endeavors.
Jeremy had 10 years commercial construction experience with time spent in the concrete trade, finish carpentry and handyman services for last 15 years.
Joey Fuller
Joey Fuller loves being a part of Team BHI. He is happy to show up to work every day and give wow level experience to our customers and to his team. He especially enjoys the problem, solving nature of our work.
When not working, he enjoys getting out and fishing, driving and exploring the great Pacific Northwest!
Dennis Koshur
Estimator / Project Coordinator
Dennis comes to the team with 20 plus years working in commercial and residential construction. He also has a background in estimation.
He is passionate about providing customers the best possible experience. He loves the outdoors and working on his own projects in his free time.
