Deck Framing & Foundation Repair

The problem:

An older deck near Seattle WA had issues with cracked footings and decaying framing. On top of this, the railing was loose and the homeowner was nervous to use the deck. The deck is about 25’ off the ground which makes any repair difficult and continued use of it dangerous.

The solution:

Call in the Baklinski Home Improvement team (the Seattle handyman experts). Wrap post bases with carbon fibre and epoxy to help enforce the concrete foundation to ensure many more years of use.

Set up scaffolding and repair damaged framing members.

Pressure wash, repaint as needed and add blocking to the railing and now the deck is ready and safe for the whole family!
