Most people don't think about their attic until the heating bill spikes. On this greater Seattle roof we opened it up and found almost nothing up there — one to two inches of old insulation where there should have been a real R-value. Fall was coming, and the homeowner was about to pay for it.
We didn't sell a scare. We showed them the gap between what was there and what the house needed, then blew in fresh fiberglass to bring the attic up to a real, modern R-value.
The crew protected the house, cleaned up every day, and walked the homeowner through the work. Insulation isn't glamorous, but it's the kind of job that pays you back every winter — and it's the kind of 'no job too small' work we take seriously.
