Introduction
Bathrooms, while often overlooked, play a significant role in our daily lives. A dated, worn-out bathroom can significantly impact our mood and overall well-being. In this blog post, we'll delve into a recent bathroom remodel project in Mercer Island that transformed a tired space into a modern oasis.
The Challenge
The homeowner was faced with a bathroom that was showing its age. The linoleum flooring was old, yellowing, and outdated. The toilet was worn and inefficient. The baseboards were chipped and peeling. It was time for a complete overhaul.
The Solution
Our team of skilled professionals was tasked with revitalizing this dated bathroom. We began by removing the old and worn-out materials, including the linoleum sheeting, toilet, and baseboards.
To create a fresh and modern look, we replaced the linoleum with luxurious vinyl planking (LVP). LVP is a durable, water-resistant flooring option that offers a wide range of styles and colors to suit any design aesthetic.
The old toilet was replaced with a new, energy-efficient model that provides better performance and a sleek, contemporary design.
Finally, we installed new baseboards to complete the transformation. The crisp, clean lines of the new baseboards added a polished touch to the space.
The Outcome
The remodeled bathroom was a complete success. The homeowner was thrilled with the transformation and the positive impact it had on their daily life. The new flooring, toilet, and baseboards created a fresh and inviting atmosphere that was both functional and stylish.
